Metal designs start as Rare Bird original hand or digital illustrations, that are laser cut out of metal or wood and finished by hand.

Metal ornaments are made with raw steel and brass metal. Each metal item has it's own character and may have patina markings and imperfections. Raw metal items may tarnish and darken over time. Some like the patina that develops as they age, but they can also be kept bright with a polishing cloth or fine sandpaper.
