This watercolor begins at the Lamoille River crossing and ends at the Northern Terminus of the Long Trail, Journey’s End. These divisions were the last to be completed and 30 years after it was first conceived the last miles were cut to the Canadian Border.
Size 3”x12”, matted size 8"x16", painted on 140 lb cold press watercolor paper with high quality watercolors, signed and dated.
The LONG TRAIL SERIES is inspired by my love of both Vermont’s Green Mountains and the trail that travels over it’s spine. Vermont's Long Trail is the country's oldest long distance hiking trail, spanning 272 miles from Massachusetts to the Canadian border.
