Yana Gorbulsky is the maker, designer and owner of Supayana. She opened the shop in 2003 and has been making and selling her designs online since. Yana is inspired by all-things vintage and loves colors, prints and high quality fabrics -- this is completely evident in her work! Supayana clothing is most notable for its unique, digitally printed illustrations done by herself and her illustrator friends. The sweatshirts and dresses usually feature adorable woodland critters such as foxes, owls, cats and rabbits -- perfect for little ones.

 

Yana's shop has become so popular that she has had to source for work outside of herself. She is committed to supporting the local economy, and so she sought assistance from a nearby professional fabric cutting service and a small family run sewing contractor. She is dedicated to remaining an active participant in the artistic process, and continues to make the original clothing designs and uses her own patters. She inspects each garment carefully, takes care of emails, packs orders and comes out to meet her customers! Yana is dedicated to using high quality, eco-friendly fabrics or at least natural/non biodegradable fabrics as often as possible. Yana is definitely an inspiration.
